There is no contract with a Monthly Membership.
- 24/7 Key Fob Access: Members of FHC are given a key fob to enter the facility anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each member receives one key fob at time of enrollment. You must have your key fob to enter the facility, even during staffed business hours. There is a $10 refundable fob-replacement fee, refundable if the lost key fob is found. Key fobs must be returned to the front desk within one month of termination/cancellation of membership to avoid the $25 fob-not-returned fee.
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel your monthly membership, give us 30-days notice by contacting us via phone, email, or in person. We will have you complete a brief cancellation form and you may keep your key fob for the remaining 30 days of your membership. Members must return their key fob at the end of the 30 days to avoid a $25 fob-not-returned fee.
- Billing: Monthly payments are made via automatic, recurring billing. (i.e: Enrollment + first month on 9/20, first automated billing on 10/20)
- Good Standing: Memberships are considered in good standing as long as there are no issues with billing. Issues may include: incorrect billing address, an expired card, a canceled card, etc. If FHC must contact you regarding a billing issue, there may be an autmatic processing fee of $10 added to your next billing cycle. After 3 months of missed payments your membership may be terminated. If sent to collections, you will be charged an additgional $30, plus a $25 fob-not-returned fee if we have not received your key fob.

- Annual Contract: Annual memberships are contracted for 1 year from purchase date. FHC Annual memberships DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. For renewal, contact the front desk before the annual membership expiration date.
- Cancellations: No notice is needed for annual membership cancellations, since you are contracted to one year of membership. Annual memberships will automatically terminate on expiration date if not renewed.
- Account Changes/Updates: Changes and updates can be made to your FHC MindBody account at the front desk, via email or phone, or online here. This includes changing address, updating payment information, etc.)
- Switching Membership Type (Upgrade/Downgrade): Monthly memberships can be upgraded or downgraded as soon as your next billing cycle. (i.e: upgrading from the Basic membership to the Club membership, or vice versa). Please contact the front desk to make this change for you!
- Spotting: We encourage you to use a spotter on the rack for your safety. If a staff member is available, ask for their assistance.
- Complementary Equipment Orientation: Staff is available during front desk hours to orient you to new or unfamiliar equipment.
- Free Training for Members: All FHC members are offered one free fitness assessment with any of our personal trainers. Our certified and experienced trainers are available by appointment and can help manage an effective and safe workout program. This is a great way to avoid injuries or refresh your existing routine to meet your fitness goals. Contact the front desk for details and scheduling.
- Class Levels: Our Group Classes are designed for all fitness levels.
- Reservations: Reservations can be made through the MindBody Fitness App, on our Classes page, or via email or phone. Walk-in reservations are available if there is space in class. Please note that if nobody is signed up for class up to 2 hours prior to class start time, the instructor may choose to cancel class that day. You can register up to 5 days in advance.
- Cancellations: Early cancellations are any class cancellations up to 2 hour prior to the start time of that class. You can cancel using the Mindbody Fitness App, or by letting our front desk staff know via email or phone.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows: This includes all cancellations within 2 hours of class start time, or no-shows without communiciation. Allowing for one free miss, if you have unlimited classes you will see a no-show fee of $8 automatically charged to your account for each subsequent late cancellation and missed class. For Club members, that class will be deducted from your monthly classes.
- Member Drop-In Rate: All members without unlimited classes can pay $8 drop-in charge for group classes.

- After Hours: Always ask the person behind you to use their own key fob to gain access to the gym. DO NOT ALLOW others to tailgate your entry. Please contact the front desk immediately with any after-hours concerns. If you are found letting others in after hours, this may result in a forfeit or terminated membership. See our guest policy for bringing in guests after hours.
FHC offers members who require ADA accessibilty a special key fob, granting residential elevator access. The gym elevator is locked outside of desk hours. Please call the front desk during desk hours for access or support entering the gym at 206.632.2200
Friends and family of members are welcome to use the gym!
- Short-Term & Drop-In: Guests of members can begin with our free 3-day trial or purchase a drop-in with a 30% discount. All guests of members get 30% off any short-term rates (not including punch-cards).
- After Hours: Please see the front desk during staffed hours. We ask all guests of members to complete a liability waiver upon entry.
- Referrals: When a member refers someone who joins, the referred will receive $20 off their enrollment or annual membership. The member will recieve $20 off their next monthly payment or can choose to apply an additional $20 discount to the referred member's account. There is no limit on referrals, though referral discounts cannot stack per billing cycle.
- Unpaid Parking: Street parking in front of the gym and around the block is free, and with a 2-hour limit.
- Paid Member Parking: FHC has a securely gated parking garage to the west of our main entrance, available to members for an additional monthly charge. This parking garage access is only to be used while you are in the gym.
- Lockers: Lockers are free for day use! Please bring your own lock, or borrow one at the front desk. There is an additional charge for members who choose overnight locker rental.
- Towels: Cleaning towels for wiping down equipment after use and face/sweat towels are available for free throughout the gym. Shower towels are available behind the front desk for a per use rate, or an additional monthly fee for members (optional).
- Cleaning Equipment: We ask all gym users to please wipe down the equipment before and after use. Dispose of used hand towels in the hampers provided throughout the gym.
- Racking Weights: Please re-rack all plates and free weights you use. If you can lift it, you can rack it! And if you need assistance, please notify our front desk.
- Dropping Weights: NO DROPPING WEIGHTS or excessive noise during residence quiet hours. Please make sure to use at least ONE row of bumper plates on the squat rack, and use crash pads provided from 10PM - 8AM quiet hours.
- Squat Rack: Do not let steel weights make direct contact with the squat rack platform. Please use at least one row of bumper plates to keep the platform from denting or cracking.
- Equipment Sharing: Share equipment and take turns; do not use multiple pieces of equipment at one time!
- Studio Use: FHC has three studios. All studio spaces are free floor space outside of reserved class time. Studio A has hardwood floors; do not bring any benches or heavy weights into studio A. Studio B has two punching bags, extra weights and accessories. Studio C is the biggest of the three studios and you will find most accessories, including TRX straps, in studio C.
- Phone Policy: Be considerate of phone volume and equipment sharing. DO NOT take calls on the gym floor, and be considerate with the use of your phone when others are waiting to use the equipment. Use the lobby or lounge area for all phone calls or video calls.
- Scents in the Gym: FHC is a scent-free space! Use unscented products only while at the gym.
- Lost & Found: The lost and found basket is located below the cleaning station on the east side of the gym. Staff will lock valuable lost items in the office outside of desk hours.
