From humble beginnings, Wild Bay Seafood Company began with a father introducing his two children, Matt and Maggie, to commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, AK. Both children developed the same love for the fishery and as time went on, made the decision to fillet, freeze, and send their fish home to Gig Harbor, WA. Maggie and her father sold their catch to restaurants throughout the Puget Sound including: The Butcher's Table, Tilth, and Local 360. When the pandemic struck, they stepped back from restaurants and partnered with specialty grocers to sell their fish. You can find their fillets and smoked products at Central Co-op, Leschi Market, and Bert's Red Apple. Seeing how well stores' customers received the products, Maggie decided to dip her feet into
online sales and market directly to consumers. She launched their website selling Holiday gift boxes of their wild and sustainable
Sockeye Salmon, along with responsibly sourced
Black Cod and
Pacific Cod. Wild Bay Seafood Company will sell these boxes through the first of the year and hopes for the opportunity to share them directly with you!
